Web design and SEO in Mallorca

Fosfor started in Mallorca and one of its two founders lives here. We can sit down with you in person, and we know the island well enough to know that a site in one language leaves out half your customers.

Your customers search in German and English

About 13.5 million tourists came to Mallorca in 2025. More than 4.5 million were German and around 2.3 million British. On top of that, nearly 28% of people living in the Balearics were born outside Spain. If you run a restaurant, a shop, a clinic or a rental, a large share of the people who could find you are searching Google in German or English, using different words from the ones you would use. Each language needs its own page written for how that person searches, not a machine translation laid on top.

The season is decided in winter

Most hotels reopen between February and April, and winter flights to the island are cut sharply. That sets the calendar: a new site takes weeks to get indexed and months to earn positions, so the sensible time to launch is before spring. If you contact us in November, your site can be live in fourteen days and spend the whole winter gaining ground on Google before the first full plane lands.

Holiday rentals: the licence number, in plain sight

Balearic tourism law requires the tourist registration number to be shown on every channel that offers the stay, and that includes your own website. Since 2025 there are no new tourist places allowed in apartment buildings, and fines have gone up. A well-made villa site puts the number where guests can see it, explains the licence plainly and reassures a guest who has read the news about illegal lets. It isn't a legal footnote. It's a reason to book with you.

Yachting, the sector Google barely sees

Palma has almost half of the Balearics' nautical companies, and refit and repair make up a large part of the sector's revenue. These businesses have international clients who search in English, compare from abroad and decide on trust. Many of them still live on word of mouth and barely show up in search. There's room there for whoever gets there first.

Common questions

Can we meet in person?

Yes. One of the founders lives in Mallorca, so we can meet for the first conversation and to walk you through the design. If a video call suits you better, that works too.

Do you write the German copy yourselves?

English and Spanish, yes. We translate German ourselves, carefully, but we're not native speakers, so before launch we ask someone you trust who speaks German to read it through. We'd rather tell you upfront.

How much does a website cost in Mallorca?

The same as anywhere: the Launch Site is €890 (up to 10 pages, one language) and the hotel, villa or business site is €1,490 (no page limit, three languages). Monthly SEO starts at €290. These are launch prices for our first clients.

I'm not on the island. Can you still help?

Of course. Most of our work happens remotely anyway. Having a founder on the island just means clients here can also meet us face to face.
